Our Story

The L2L - Link to Leadership adventure began on the trails while we trained and competed on an all-girl adventure racing team. We had to link our physical skills with our mental skills in order to succeed. We were not the most talented team, however, we trusted one another, knew how to communicate effectively, and committed to the training and hard work needed to compete. As a diverse team, we had our own individual talents and weaknesses. Cohesion was necessary, in order to compete we had to be aligned, and we had to finish together. Throughout the years we trained and competed, we were often discouraged. We didn't give up or give in to the challenges that got in the way. We knew we could navigate through unpredicted obstacles, scale walls, run and bike while in pain and frightened. We kept a united front, supported one another, and challenged each other to be our best. We had all of the components of a high-performing team and we were winners!

We have decades of experience working on teams and for teams. The combination of our education, experience, compassion, and competitive edge, enabled us to provide empowering leadership development programs, life-changing personal coaching, and engaging team development workshops where teams learn how to work better together.

Lynne Powers is experienced in the field of psychology, marketing, and business development. Lynne works one -on one with individuals looking to move forward in their lives. She collaborates with organizations to find the best leadership and employee development solutions to fit their objectives. Her engaging programs and workshops sustain long-lasting results.

Lynne's approach is about building strong relationships which a driving force behind her success. Lynne is passionate, innovative, and optimistic.

Helene St. Pierre, M.A.O.D.

Helene St. Pierre is an experienced executive coach, leadership coach, and team coach/facilitator. Helene is highly adept at helping people identify their challenges, capabilities, and strengths in order for them to reach higher levels of effectiveness in their personal and professional lives.

Heather Hafner
Consultant

Heather is passionate about positively affecting people through experiential learning. She brings a unique perspective and specialization in team development to my work as a consultant for team building and training. Twelve years as a professional beach and indoor volleyball player and 20+ years as a corporate teambuilding trainer have allowed her to apply the skills and knowledge learned on the court to real-life situations. Past participants include youth, families and many Fortune 500 companies in a variety of consulting capacities.

She has extensive facilitation and team building experience, including: conflict management; mediation; emotional intelligence; accountability; executive/life and 360 degree coaching; DiSC behavioral styles; philanthropic team building; rope course; drum circles and dialogue circles. Utilizing hands-on activities, She has worked with youth and adults.

Jacob Cerda
Digital Marketing & Communications Director

Jacob has been into computers since a young age. His dad taught him how to use a mouse when he was only one year old.

Although Jacob has a physical disability, his mind is sharp and does not let anything stand in his way. Jacob’s role models are C.S. Lewis and Walt Disney, for their unwavering faith in God and endless imagination. He enjoys learning new things and looks forward to new challenges. Jacob has been working with L2L since November doing digital marketing and web design!
